Domestic Abuse Project may be able to assist with your unique legal needs. The Domestic Abuse Project was founded in 1979 to provide a coordinated response to domestic abuse. To this end, we have developed four components: Legal Advocacy, Therapy, Training and Publications, and Research and Evaluation. Each program uses a different approach but shares common goals: to provide safety to survivors and their children, to hold abusers accountable for the violence, to build model programs that can be replicated in other communities, influencing institutions to make changes in their policies and practices to provide effective intervention with families affected by domestic violence.
