Legal Aid of North Carolina – Central Intake may be able to assist with your unique legal needs. Centralized Intake is a work unit of Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) that interviews persons who are calling LANC by telephone and who are seeking legal assistance. The Central Intake Unit (CIU) provides advice and brief service to eligible clients. For eligible clients needing additional legal services, CIU staff refers the client to a local LANC office for an additional review of the case.
