Queens Legal Services (QLS) provides free legal counseling, representation and referrals in civil matters to Queens residents. We also work with our clients and community partners to challenge and remove systemic inequalities in Queens and throughout New York City. QLS operates several projects, including:

* Homeowner & Consumer Rights (including foreclosure defense, anti-predatory lending)
* Education RIghts (including school discipline, special education)
* Family Law/Domestic Violence (including counseling, family court and housing assistance)
* Public Benefits Food Security (income security, assistance with Food Stamps)
* Disability Advocacy (including SSI/SSD appeals)
* Disaster Aid (Hurricane Sandy)
* LGBT and HIV Advocacy
* Taxpayer Rights (including federal and state tax-related issues
