The mission of Pisgah Legal Services is to provide effective, high-quality legal counseling and representation for low-income people in certain non-criminal matters that address clients’ basic needs; to ensure equal justice for low-income people; and to advance and protect their legal rights. Pisgah Legal Services is committed to equal justice for all people. We help children, families, and adults solve problems that affect their basic needs, such as: housing; safety from domestic abuse; health care (including Medicaid and Medicare access); subsistence income (SSI, SSDI) education. We provide legal help in non-criminal matters to people who cannot afford a private attorney.
