Walk-in:Walk-in services during business hours by trained staff and volunteers. Information and Assistance:For persons assessing their relationships or victims attempting to escape violence. We will attempt to meet the victim’s self defined needs. Assistance includes: resources for security and protection, food, clothing, household items, furniture, and personal supplies. Assistance in navigating the “system”Referrals, transportation, and accompaniment to other services such as housing, medical, mental health, financial assistance, child care, skills training or employment. Legal Advocacy/Criminal Justice System Intervention Projects:Assistance with Protection Orders, restitution, Reparations or visitation arrangements. Accompaniment to or tracking of criminal process for the victim. Advocacy for the victim in court and with officers of the court. Developing a community-based response to battering to protect the victim and help stop the violence.
