Hurt back,received a settlement,back issues came back,will my medicaid cover my treatment?

I hurt my back in 2016.I received a settlement a couple months ago and I was told by my lawyers that if I experience further problems out of my injury I should use my regular insurance.(I have Medicaid).I have been using Medicaid for my physical therapy for my back for the last few weeks and now I need an MRI on my back. Is it true that if Medicaid finds out that my injury was work-related, that they will not cover my MRI?I have an appointment with an orthopedic doctor, what should I say at the appointment?
